As a child in school AND home, I was always taught to never assume because it only makes an ASS out of U and ME. 

2012 was probably the most incredible year. I made sure I lived my life how I wanted to as soon as I turned 21. I cannot emphasize enough how this is the happiest I have been since my golden high school years. 

Recap of 2012: 

I finally joined the best sisterhood I could ever ask for: aKDPhi. These ladies have seen me cry and wear no make-up. I don't think I've ever found a handful of support who've seen my highs and my lows, and never have I felt so rewarded to be part of something that would last for a lifetime. It never hit me until I realized how my time with them is ticking. Over the past few months, I learned that my passion for my KDPhi family has grown (but they don't know that), and I'm not ready to say farewell at all. This is the climax of my college path. LnF <3 Because of this moment, it led me to greater heights in life.

                           

                           

My first travel as an aKDPhi sister-- Convention in Houston, where they had delicious shaved ice! 

                           

Simply being a part of this lineage. No-daddy, stankface bitching lineage. 

                           

I was finally 21, and drank legally... but went out a bit too much that my friends and I made it into the newspapers! LOL! 

 

                            

I went to the gun range for the first time and yelled out "I'm not a killer!" lol. 

                           

When I realized how old my girls and I were getting after my niece graduated from college.

                           

I got to live with the best roommates ever, and always felt at home with them. APT 142!

                            

I woke up one day, and told myself that I wanted a thrill so I went skydiving. 

                         

I participated in a local Thai pageant just for fun and realized how I wanted to get closer to the Thai culture. 

                          

Working at a place that always made me happy, and feel closer to home as if I were living with my parents again. 

Up to this day, I'm shocked how my girls and I made our trip to NY happen. From FL, MN, MI, & NE, we all made it safe and sound in NYC, partying it on the rooftop by the Empire State Building, latenight walks in Harlem, roaming in the streets of Chinatown, and eating nonstop everywhere we went. 

                       

I finally got bangs.

Then an ombre...

I took a random get-away trip to Miami with my favorite mami.

I went horseback riding, and never felt so connected with an animal. It's crazy how you can fall in love with something you just met. I miss Tootsie.

I ran my first 5K obstacle at Run for Your Lives, and have challenged myself from then on. I've never felt so good being dirty at the same time.


My best friend and sister moved back closer to me, so I can always have a place to run to.



I took another random trip to ATL to visit my best friend. Gosh, I love that place and my endless nights there.

I finally got to make my dream come true, and met Mickey and Minnie Mouse!



When I made use of my Spring Break and did a mini study abroad program on a Cruiseship to Cozumel and Grand Caymen, where I got to snorkel/swim next to dolphins.





Took another spontaneous and random trip to DC. I gained so much insight and met a group of inspirational well-rounded go-getters within a few days.

Last, but not least, I got to the end the year with the ones I love most.

As for 2013, I just hope it remains the same, or gets even better. I have no idea what it has in store for me, but as long as I try to make the most of it as much as I did for 2012, I am sure it will bring me nothing but great wonders. Please be just as good to me!

When girls tell me that they feel like they've cheated on their boyfriend MENTALLY and EMOTIONALLY,
I understand everything they're saying.
It's not necessarily a way of cheating even if we feel like it is, but I honestly think that sometimes those type of people come into our lives to realize what we deserve.
Maybe it's intimacy; it's affection; it's actually a genuine connection.

But in the end, they show us what our worth is.

I would normally tell them to chill out, but nowadays I tell them... that they may come into your life for a reason, even if you end up with them or not.

These guys come into your life for every reasoning without you noticing it until you open your mind, eyes, and heart.
